Flamingo Fling

The Flamingo Fling is the Hampden Family Center’s most important fund raising event of the year — held in the spring. The Flamingo Fling is an evening filled with fun, delicious food and drinks, great entertainment and a silent and live auction. Funds raised from this event help ensure the Hampden Family Center continues to provide quality programs and services to Hampden residents.

Guests enjoy food at the Flamingo Fling.

Holiday Party

The Annual Family Center Christmas Party served more than 250 adults and children in 2009, and was a tremendous success thanks to our many volunteers and those who donated goods and services. Special thanks to First Floor Graphics, Santa Claus (Geoff Harris), The Baltimore Orioles, David Wells and The Wine Source, UTZ Potato Chips, Jim Sandusky and the Boys' Latin Ice Hockey Team, St. David's Church youth, the Kemp family, Burgee-Henss-Seitz Funeral Home and The Junior League of Baltimore's singing group, the Larks.

Open House

The Hampden Family Center holds several open houses throughout the year for members of the community and interested parties to tour the center, meet the staff and learn first-hand about the programs and services that are provided.
